Qatar stresses the need to hold those responsible for human rights violations against journalists accountable

The State of Qatar affirmed having taken note of the report of the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions submitted to the Council in document entitled "Investigation into the unlawful death of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi" and its annex, adding that Qatar reiterates its support for the recommendations contained in the documents, and stresses the importance of protecting journalists from all violations of their rights, primarily the right to life, physical integrity and the right to freedom of opinion and expression.

Qatar Calls on Human Rights Council and its mechanisms to end blockade's coercive and discriminatory measures

During the general debate with the High Commissioner for Human Rights at the 41se Session of the Human Rights Council, the State of Qatar stressed the importance of the role of the Human Rights Council and of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in working to end the discriminatory unilateral coercive measures imposed on Qatar by a number of States in the region and to hold those responsible accountable.

Qatar Expresses Support to International Efforts to End Division in Libya

the State of Qatar reiterated its support for the Government of National Reconciliation and the agreement of Skhirat and its results , calling on all Libyan brothers to end the state of division and reach a comprehensive political settlement without excluding any party and to proceed with completing the transitional phase through political, constitutional and electoral benefits, in order to preserve Libya's sovereignty and territorial integrity and realize the aspirations and demands of the Libyan people.
