Qatar, UN Office at Geneva Sign MoU

The State of Qatar and the United Nations Office at Geneva have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), on the renovation and modernization of Hall 19, as an integrated project as a donation from the State of Qatar. The MoU was signed for Qatar by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in Geneva Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, and HE Director of the United Nations Office at Geneva Michael Moller.


Qatar Welcomes ILO's Decision to Close Complaint

The State of Qatar welcomed Wednesday the announcement by the International Labour Organization (ILO) that it will close its 2014 complaint against Qatar. Qatar's Government Communication office said in a statement today that the announcement was an acknowledgement of the important steps the government of Qatar has taken to develop a modern labor system that is fair to employers and employees alike.
