The Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar in Geneva organized on 27 February 2018 a side event to the 37^th Session of the Human Rights Council entitled “Human Rights Violations Caused by Unilateral Coercive Measures Against the State of Qatar”.

At the outset, the Permanent Mission delivered an opening statement followed by the presentation of a short film (produced by Qatar TV) which showcases different human rights violation resulting from the blockade. This was followed by a panel discussion with Mr. Christopher Doyley, Director of the Council of CAABU-London, Professor Jorge Vinuales , Legal expert , Sheikha Nagwa Al-Thani from QNHRC and  Dr. Wafaa Al-Yazidi on behalf of the victims
