To mark Qatar National Sports Day, Qatar Permanent Mission in Geneva has organised today a bowling party in the recreation centre of "la Praille shopping and entertainment centre" in Geneva with the participation of diplomats and local staff of the Permanent Mission and of Qatar’s Office to the WTO as well as the representative of the Ministry of Administrative Development, labour and Social Affairs in Geneva.

It is worth noting that National Sports Day was adopted by the Emiri Decree issued by H.H.Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in 2012. It is held annually on the second Tuesday in February, with the main objective of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population.

H.H. the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad AL-Thani participate in the celebrations held today by cycling on the Doha Corniche.
