HE Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office in Geneva has met today Wednesday 24 October 2018, with HE Ms. Michelle Bachelet, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
H.E Ambassador congratulated HE Ms. Bachelet on her appointment as High Commissioner for Human Rights and raised with her the issue of the unjust blockade imposed on the State of Qatar for more than 500 days, stressing the necessity that all possible efforts should be exerted to end the unilateral coercive measures against the State of Qatar.  
They also reviewed during the meeting the relations between the State of Qatar and OHCHR and aspiration of both sides to enhance and develop them.
